March, 2023: Saturna Seed Library & Island Seedy Saturdays

Little Saturna Island (population 465) has a new Seed Library! (see below), which the Gulf Islands Food Co-op is helping to support.  Then on Saturday, March 18, 2023, the four Southern Gulf Islands each had Seedy Saturday displays.  This was for people to donate, receive, and share info about saving non-GMO heritage seeds, that are best adapted to resiliently grow food in our uniquely challenging island conditions (see more HERE).
