Oct 12, 2024 Pender Winter Stock-Up Market

Following up on a super Galiano Island tradition, the Gulf Islands Food Co-op is happy to have organized and supported the first Winter Stock-Up Market on Pender Island.

This is on Saturday, October 12, 2024, and you can see the EVENT NOTICE below for more info.  The process started with spring, 2024 Co-op financial and other support for island producers willing to grow squash and other winter storage vegetables.  This was both for later donation to local Island Food Banks, and also for a Pender Stock-Up Market.  Now all are welcome to come support Pender producers on October 12, buy great food, and learn more about food growing and winter storage :-)
