Greetings!  Now here’s the GIFC May 2026 Food Co-op Newsletter.  Firstly check this link if you’re a youth interested in summer work that supports local island food systems.  Meanwhile island production and events are ramping up!  This includes a May 16 Seedling and Plant Swap on Saturna Island, a May 23 Fallow Deer Processing Workshop on Pender, and a June 28 “Beyond the Abbattoir” workshop on Mayne.  Additional garden and farm Tours are also anticipated, to share producer knowledge and support each other.  As Islanders, we are stronger together!
