March, 2025 NEWSLETTER, New Co-op Seed Equipment, April 15 AGM

For those who didn’t already receive it, here’s the latest March, 2025 Gulf Islands Food Co-op Newsletter

This time it starts with some wonderful food producer learning workshops from various sources, and also announces the first public display of the new Gulf Islands Food Co-op SEED CLEANING EQUIPMENT! 

Courtesy of a greatly-appreciated grant from the United Way, this equipment to make seed cleaning so much faster and easier includes the new tabletop “Clipper” machine, and a variety of screens depending on the type of seed to filter out.  Co-op President Roz Kempe recently displayed the equipment at the Mayne Island Seed Saturday, and the next display will be at the Pender Island Seedy Saturday on March 22.
