Community Gathering/Learning: Sew-a-Bear Workshop

COMMUNITY GATHERING SERIES: Most Fridays, the Pender Community Hall hosts an intriguing 1-hour Learning/Workshop starting at 10:45 am, then a 12:00 noon Soup Lunch by donation, and also usually Live Music between 12:15 and 1:15 pm. This wonderful chance to learn and connect is funded by a grant to the Pender Islands Health Centre. The location is the Community Hall (4418 Bedwell Harbour Road). On Feb 9th, the Community Hall will be hosting Sew-a-Bear. Sew a teddy bear or creative creature (a monster?) for someone special. Fabric, needles, thread and stuffing will be provided, just bring your creativity… well maybe bring buttons that are special to you for the eyes. This craft is suitable for almost all ages, younger children need to bring an adult to help them sew. Please RSVP to email@example.com
